Estrategies
Forum

The methodological strategy proposes to carry out an oral or documentary investigation of day of dead in a specific locality or region, which allows to encourage knowledge and respect for differences between social, ethnic or linguistic groups and creating spaces for interaction and dialogue, where the cultural manifestations of each place converge in a plural way with equity.

Our curriculum combines formative and inclusive education based on the values of diversity, to produce a collaborative and interactive experience according to the characteristics of today's students, all through the use of technology.

The interactive components of the project promote the collaboration of students from different distant schools, to exchange similar and different educational experiences, and to increase the quality of learning.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss these issues with students from other schools around the world: they will comment on what they learn in the various online forums; they will publish the learning experiences acquired with their classmates and their teachers, in a collaborative digital wall of the project to share their work and learn about similar experiences.

We hope that students enjoy learning about the different cultural manifestations of Day of the Dead through this educational project.

Throughout the project, teachers will be responsible for presenting information to students, facilitating the teaching of knowledge and the development of research skills; as well as guide them to carry out all the specific activities of each didactic stage, including:

Organization in teams. The class must be divided into teams of approximately 5 members to carry out the collaborative project activities; however, the start and end tests will be answered individually.

• Use of communication tools: creation, collaboration and publication.Students will use the Internet tools to search for information, or ask their families about the traditions of the day of the dead, to generate products. In addition, they will participate by teams, in the Forums and in the digital collaborative Wall of the project to share and disseminate their entire work process that they carry out and the learning they obtain. Students will be responsible for creating and publishing texts, image galleries and multimedia products with their description.

• Discussion forums. The forums are the tool for exchanging information and comments within the project. In the forums, the interaction between international students will take place; they will have the opportunity to interact and share their research experiences through messages written in English.
