* The case study is a fundamental part of the contents of the Geography program of the Ministry of Education of Mexico. The case study helps to integrate the contents and apply the concepts, skills and attitudes of the subject. It is a component of the study program that offers the possibility of incorporating events of reality, related to the immediate environment or with other countries, according to the interests of the students and in accordance with the purposes, contents and expected learning of each block. It also allows us to investigate and deepen knowledge, to develop skills in the management of written, statistical and graphic information. Through the exchange of ideas and the exercise of argumentation, students can develop oral and written communication skills, while consolidating a conscious and critical attitude of the analyzed problems.
