Session 3. Outreach campaign

Activity 1

National Participation

They will create a dissemination campaign that contains a compilation of the seen topics in order to sensitize the educational community, as well as to propose school and community actions that contribute to care of the environment and the reduction of deforestation.

International Participation

In the same way, they will create a dissemination campaign with the information generated from the exchange, in order to sensitize the educational community and to contribute to mitigate or reduce deforestation levels. In this campaign, propose school and community actions for the care of the environment that contribute to mitigate this environmental problem in both countries.

Both modalities

To carry out the dissemination campaign, you should consider the following points:

1. Highlight the importance of forests and jungles.
2. Establish the main causes and consequences of deforestation, both local and in different countries.
3. Describe the research strategies to mitigate this environmental problem.
4. Establish action lines in group, at home, at school and in the community.

Activity 2

National participation

They will implement the campaign in schools, take evidence and describe the results obtained based on the achievements of the education community's awareness and if they are willing to contribute to reduce this environmental problem.

International participation

The distant teams will exchange and combine the results obtained, after the implementation of the campaign in both schools of the participating countries, as well as the achievements obtained from the sensitization of the educational community.

Both modalities

In the Evidence Padlet, they will upload the concept map and express what they learned. Read the contributions of the other colleagues from Mexico and participating countries, in order to compare the different situations of this environmental problem, without forgetting to express their points of view.

They will participate in the discussion forum where they comment about the purposes of their campaign and the results obtained, in the sense of whether they managed to sensitize the population. Otherwise, other activities would be carried out in order to achieve the objectives set. Forum en iEARN

In the Facebook of the project, they will share evidences (image, video and audio) with an explanation of the activity and the results obtained.
