In this first session, let's talk about the importance of forests in ecological balance, a natural resource that is at risk of disappearing.

One of the forests that still has large well-preserved expanses is the "Amazon rainforest". However, in mid-August 2019, one of the largest fires recorded in El Amazonas was recorded, affecting forest areas in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Peru.

Let's look at the following: What are the causes and consequences of fires in the "lung of the world"? How does it affect the health of living beings? What will happen to the forest? What are the consequences? If forests are valuable not only for the oxygen it provides us but for its fundamental role in the absorption of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and the consequent reduction of the greenhouse effect.
